Red Bank Celebrates 70 Years
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The City of Red Bank is turning 70 and they’re celebrating with music, food, and a full day of family fun.
Saturday’s anniversary event at Red Bank City Park featured live music, food trucks, local vendors, and activities for all ages.
A special highlight was White Oak Bicycle Co-op, which plans to distribute one thousand bikes this year, giving away seventy bikes to local kids along with free helmets and tuneups.
The Red Bank Fire Department even gave kids a hands-on taste of firefighting, letting them spray real hoses and learn what it takes to put out a blaze.
The day also included a MoonPie Move 5k and 10K, city department booths, and even a digital archive project collecting Red Bank memories from over the decades.
