Red Bank police responded a call of a shooting at Bojangles
RED BANK, Tenn. (WDEF) –On Saturday at 1:30 p.m., Red Bank Police Officers and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at the Bojangles restaurant located at 2023 Dayton Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they discovered a male victim who had been shot.
First responders provided initial aid, including applying a tourniquet to the victim. Red Bank Fire and Hamilton County EMS also arrived to assist, and the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to initial information, the victim was shot while sitting in a vehicle outside the restaurant.
The suspect fled the area after the shooting, and their identity remains unknown.
The manager of Bojangles stated that no one inside the restaurant witnessed the incident.
The victim reportedly walked into the restaurant after being shot and informed employees of the situation.
Law enforcement officials suspect the shooting may have been a targeted act rather than a random occurrence.
Detectives responded to the scene and are actively investigating the case.
