Red Bank Police Search Dayton Blvd Buildings After Reported Shooting

Update: Trooper tells us there was no shooting.  Barber at barber shop says he was told it was a false alarm.

Red Bank (WDEF) – Red Bank police were called to 2240 Dayton Boulevard on a shooting call.

The original scene seems to have been between White Oak Baptist Church and the White Oak Barbershop.

We know that police evacuated customers and workers from the Barbershop.

They are now going through nearby buildings looking for a suspect.

They have also blocked off traffic on Dayton Boulevard.
