Remembering Woodmore 9 years later

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Today marks 9 years since the devastating school bus crash that killed 6 children on Talley Road.

Cor’dayja, D’myunn, Keonte, Zyaira, Zyanna, and Zoie passed away in the school bus crash.

Bus driver Johnthony Walker lost control while he was transporting children from Woodmoore Elementary.

37 children were on board at the time of the crash.

Walker was convicted of several charges including 6 counts of criminally negligent homicide.

He is currently serving time in prison on an unrelated case.
