Remote Area Medical is giving free medical services
UPDATE:
Next weekend, RAM will be hosting another popup clinic in Memphis Tennessee and Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The clinic in Memphis Tennessee will be held at the Neighborhood Christian Center at 785 Jackson Ave.
The clinic in Allentown, Pennsylvania will be held at the Executive Education Academy Charter School at 555 Union Blvd.
Again, these events are to provide medical services to communities for free, so you don’t want to miss out.
JASPER, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Remote Area Medical will be hosting a pop-up clinic in Jasper Tennessee this coming Saturday and Sunday.
The clinic will be hosted at 495 Warrior Drive in Jasper Tennessee, at Jasper Elementary School.
The free medical services include general medical exams, dental cleanings, extractions, eye exams, and even prescription glasses made on-site.
Make sure to get there early as the parking lot will open around midnight on Friday night and will stay open for the entire time.
The clinic will open at 6am.
Make sure you get there early, as guests will be helped on a first come, first serve basis.
Upon arrival guests will be asked to choose between vision or dental services.
Brad Sands, Clinic Coordinator with Remote Area Medical, says, “Come on out, everything here is free. We don’t need your ID and we don’t need your insurance card. You can come out here and tell me your name is Mickey Mouse and I’m still going to bring you in. We’ve got excellent providers. They’re all volunteers coming out volunteering their time, because they want to take care of their community…”
This is a great opportunity in the Tennessee area.
Health care prices continue to increase, leaving many community members unable to seek the medical attention they need.
By hosting this event, RAM has removed all financial and most travel barriers for those in the local Jasper Tennessee area.
This is a totally free event as it is run by many volunteers so don’t forget to make plans to go.
