Rep. Fleischmann explains what a Presidential visit can do for Republicans

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Third district congressman Chuck Fleischmann will introduce the president at Sunday’s rally.

Fleischmann is going for a 5th term in office.

We asked him how effective the President’s visit to a solid red state like Tennessee will be.

“When the president of the United States, Donald Trump, comes to Hamilton County, it’s going to energize the base; it’s going to make sure we get a large turnout. Obviously, that will help Bill Lee, that will help Marsha Blackburn win the senate race, and it’ll help me in my house race, as well.”

Fleischmann is facing Dr. Danielle Mitchell.

She’s running on a platform of providing more affordable insurance to Southeast Tennessee.
