Rhea County man indicted for child rape

DAYTON, Tennessee (WDEF) – A Rhea County man has been indicted by a grand jury on child rape charges.

Brandon Henderson, who is in his 30s, is in jail on a 3-million-dollar bond.

He’s facing three counts of child rape.

Henderson is scheduled to have his first court appearance tomorrow.

According to detectives with the Rhea County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was under the age of 12 and was abused over a period of one year.

Henderson was arrested after investigators interviewed the child and their family members.
