Rhea County reports TCAP testing results

DAYTON, Tennessee (WDEF) – Rhea County officials have release information on how their 3rd grade students did in the TCAP testing.

They tell us that 29% of their third grades were flagged for possible retention.

That number does not include the students who were exempted out of retention (disabilities, previously held back and English learners).

Parents of those student will have to choose between summer school, getting a tutor for next year or holding back their students.
