Richmond Reportedly Makes Job Offer to Mocs Russ Huesman

Given Russ Huesman’s successful track record at Chattanooga, it was only a matter of time before other schools would come calling.
According to media reports, Richmond has offered their head coaching job to Huesman.
Huesman was the Spiders defensive coordinator on their 2008 national championship team.
Shortly after the title game, he was hired at Chattanooga.
Huesman has gone 59-37 in his eight seasons at UTC.
He has taken the Mocs to the FCS playoffs for three straight years.
The school had made only one FCS playoff appearance prior to Huesman’s arrival.
Huesman makes over $200,000 as the Mocs head coach.
But according to a report in the Collegian, Richmond paid former coach Danny Rocco over $430,000.
So it appears Huesman would get more money if he chooses to return to Richmond.
