Ridgeland’s new football coach Craig Pritchett settling in

ROSSVILLE, Ga. (WDEF) — Ridgeland might’ve hired its new football coach back in December, but Craig Pritchett is just now finally settling in — back in his hometown of Rossville.

Pritchett was the defensive coordinator for the famed Panthers team that made it to the state championship in 2012. Now, 11 years later, he returns, ready to bring the Panthers back to glory.

“I bleed black and silver. Since I played here in ’95 as a freshman and then graduated in ’98 and came back and coached, super proud to be a Panther,” Pritchett said. “Since I got into coaching 17 years ago, I played here. Coming back to the hometown, coaching in my hometown has always been what I wanted to do, and I’m just grateful for the opportunity to come back and finally get here as the head coach. Hopefully we can get Ridgeland back on track.”
