Ringgold City Clerk of Court Arrested

Ringgold (WDEF) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announces the arrest of Ringgold City Clerk of Court Tracy Alan Bass.;

The 52-year old from Fort Oglethorpe faces charges of Theft by taking, Computer Forgery, Tampering with Evidence, and Interference with Government Property.

Ringgold police and the Catoosa County District Attorney requested the investigation last week over missing court fees and fines from the office.

Bass was arrested on Tuesday and released on bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
