Ringgold Road closed due to gas leak

UPDATE:

Ringgold Road has reopened.

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) — The City of East Ridge announced that Ringgold Road is closed from Belvoir Avenue to Marlboro Avenue.

They said this is due to a gas leak.

It is unknown how long the repairs will take.

The city said Chattanooga Gas will be on the scene during repairs.

Officials are rerouting traffic around this area.
