Road closures and hazards in Hamilton County
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security updated their list of roads that are closed or have limited access.
They said that Highway 153 at the Chickamauga Dam is now open in both directions.
There have been numerous reports of wires and trees down and road hazards.
HCEMS shared this message, “EPB and emergency services are clearing roadways as quickly as possible. To allow crews leeway, please keep non-essential travel to a minimum through this afternoon and early evening.”
