Roger Heard autopsy report reveals 14 gunshot wounds

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the autopsy report for Roger Heard, Jr.

Heard was shot and killed by police on August 11.

The autopsy report reveals that Heard sustained 14 gunshot wounds from law enforcement officers. Two of those gunshot wounds were to the head.

The report stated that he also had numerous fragment wounds to the back and blunt force injuries as well.

In addition, Heard had no alcohol or drugs in his system at the time of his death.
