Rome police looking for man accused of murder

ROME, Ga. (WDEF) — Rome police are warning the public of a man who they believe committed a murder last week.

The Rome Police Department filed an arrest warrant for Floydell Quinchard Smith, on the charge of felony murder.

Smith is believed to have killed Te’Vian Markez Williams on June 27, authorities said.

The incident happened on Dodd Boulevard in Rome, Georgia.

They warn the public not to approach Smith.
