Rossville Fire Department responded to commercial vehicle fire

ROSSVILLE, Ga. (WDEF) —  The Rossville Fire Department (RFD) responded to a commercial vehicle fire early Wednesday morning.

At approximately 12:50 a.m., December 4, 2024, RFD was dispatched to 116 Walnut Avenue for a vehicle fire and structure endangerment.

According to RFD, an officer with the Rossville Police Department was first on scene, and reported the vehicle fire was a commercial motor vehicle.

Upon arrival, RFD found the building adjacent also involved in the fire.

The fire was extinguished by 1:17 a.m.

The commercial vehicle was a total loss, and the building adjacent received minimal damage.

No injuries were reported from this incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
