Sale Creek man busted with large amounts of Marijuana and LSD

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) – A routine traffic stop leads to a drug bust that included a lard amount of marijuana and LSD.

Kalen Radunzel, 23, of Sale Creek is facing three drug charges including the possession of LSD for resale.

Radunzel was arrested during a traffic stop in the 4700 block of Brainerd Road.

Deputies say when they pulled the Honda SUV over, they noticed a strong smell of marijuana. They also reportedly noticed Radunzel stuff something under his seat.

When deputies searched the vehicle, they reportedly found a backpack with a large amount of marijuana and scales inside.

Radunzel reportedly admitted that the drugs were his and was immediately taken to jail.

While unpacking the marijuana in a police evidence room, authorities found suspicious looking papers that were tested and confirmed to be LSD.

Radunzel is now being held on a $50,000 bond.

Two weeks prior to his latest arrest, Radunzel was arrested on drug charges in relation to drug resale.

In 2013, Radunzel was convicted on a drug charge and was sentenced to 11 months in jail but the time was suspended on good behavior.
