Salvation Army Held Christmas Breakfast

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Salvation Army says that Christmas would not be complete without making sure the homeless in our area had a great Christmas breakfast.

They had a long line outside the building this morning.

It was held at the ReCreate Café.

Christmas presents were also given out to make sure they had something under the tree this year.

“We are their family and we have volunteers come out and share the Christmas joy with them a lot of times. Just sitting with them and a lot of times just sitting with them and eating brunch, asking them what their favorite Christmas memory is or favorite toy growing up. It’s just a real conversation that you and I take for granted,” says Kimberly George with the Salvation Army.
