Salvation Army serves 800 meals for in Polk and McMinn Counties

OCOEE, Tenn. (WDEF) – Polk and McMinn counties suffered serious damage in Tennessee from tornadoes.

The local chapter of the Salvation Army in Chattanooga served just over 800 meals to the Athens, Ocoee and Englewood communities.

In Alabama, the Jackson County Salvation Army served 500 meals in the Rosalie community.

The Salvation Army also needs your support for the relief efforts with monetary donations to csarmy.org, 1-800-Sal-Army, or you may text TNSTORMS to 41444.
