Sanctuary Treehouse Resort under contruction in Smoky Mountains

Sevierville experience is supposed to be the first of its kind

SEVIERVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Several intriguing developments are in the works for the Seiverville/Smoky Mountains area of East Tennessee.

Now we’re learning of a new one promising great views and a treehouse experience.

The Sanctuary Treehouse Resort is touted as the first of its kind.

The developers are promising resort accommodations in their lux tree houses with access to a pair of golf courses, walking trails, an enchanted forest and spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains.

Construction has already begun on some of the treehouses on the 40 acre site.

They are planning on three types of rentals:

Tree Fort: accommodate 2-6 people with spiral slides, drink shoots for bottles from the kitchen, telescopes, bucket pulley’s, swings, secret ladders, exape hatches, rope climbs, and fireplaces.

Tree Fort Double: two treehouses with a drawbridge connecting them that can be raised.

Luxe: for couples, upscale amenities including outside tubs, and suspended outdoor day beds.

They do not have a grand opening date yet, but hope to have some treehouses available to rent this summer.
