Scenic City continues to gather to morn servicemen lost during shooting

It may have been a few weeks since the shooting, but the hurt is still fresh in the hearts of many.  Chattanoogans are continuing to come together to pray for the fallen servicemen and their families….

The community has really come together to show exactly what Chattanooga Strong means… Today the Senic City Women’s network had a Prayer Walk in 2 locations, one at Grace Works Church near Lee Hwy. and one at River Park near Amnicola.

Dozens of people came out to pray for the families and pay their respects to the victims.

Chapline Storie, one of the speakers at the event, was sent here to try and help the victims’ families in their tough times, and he spoke with me briefly about his experience ….

"It has been very emotional.  In a way it has been one of the greatest blessings of my life to be with people who are in so much need, so many facing so much tragedy.  It is really an honor to be with the families,  because they have responded with courage and determination.  They are everything we honor about our military."
