School Crossing Guard Hit/Driver Not To Be Charged

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) The driver that hit a school crossing guard Monday morning will not be charged at this time.

It happened on Browns Ferry Road.

Officials say the crossing guard Noelle Bittle was standing on the double yellow line trying to stop traffic when she was hit.

The driver said he didn’t see her until it was too late and couldn’t stop.

Bittle was treated for non-life threatening injures; a broken arm and several cuts to the face and body.
