SCORES: Bearettes win, others fall short in Saturday postseason games
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Bradley Central Bearettes are headed to Murfreesboro for the Division I-AAA State Final Four after defeating Oakland 43-37.
Elsewhere in the area, Dekalb County finishes McMinn Central girls’ season, winning 44-42.
Meigs County girls couldn’t beat Macon County. Macon win 69-50.
In Georgia, the Christian Heritage boys played Eagles Landing for a spot in the GHSA state championship game. Eagles Landing beat the Lions 60-44. Saturday was Christian Heritage’s first appearance in a state final four.
TSSAA Division I boys basketball will host their substate games Monday, March 4. In Class AA, Brainerd will host York Institute, and Howard heads to Watertown. In Class AAA, Cleveland hosts Blackman, and East Hamilton travels to Oakland. All Monday’s games are win or go home. Winners play in Murfreesboro in the state Final Four.
