Second vehicle may have hit woman on Dayton Pike

Traffic Investigators have now located the second driver. No charges have been filed at this time.

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) Hamilton County investigators now say a second vehicle may have hit a woman late on the Fourth of July.

Becky Bredlove was struck by a vehicle after leaving a bar in the 14,500 block of Dayton Pike Wednesday night.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

But now investigators report that witnesses say a second vehicle behind the first may have also hit her accidentaly.

The driver stopped and spoke to people on the scene, but then left.

Investigators would like to talk to that driver for further information.

She is a woman in here 20’s with brown hair driving a newer Volkswagen or Kia.

No charges have been filed in the case at this point, but the investigation is continuing.
