Semi-truck overturned on Highway 111 Friday evening

SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A semi-truck has overturned on Highway 111 in Sequatchie County.

The southbound lanes of Highway 111 are currently closed, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).

TDOT said the overturned truck is near Cagle Knob Road.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office asks drivers to use caution in that area. Deputies and first responders were on the scene.

There is low visibility due to fog, the sheriff’s office said.

It is currently unclear if there were any injuries.
