Sequatchie man killed in Marion County crash

WHITWELL, Tennessee (WDEF) – A rear-end collision Wednesday has killed a Sequatchie Valley man.

It happened around 2 PM CDT on Highway 28 near Ketner’s Mill Road in Marion County.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a car rear-ended a pickup truck.

The driver of the car was okay.

But the truck ran off the road and overturned.

64 year old Walter Willis from the town of Sequatchie was ejected from the vehicle and killed.

Troopers say he was not wearing a safety belt.

No charges are being filed in the case.
