Sewanee student charged with setting frat on fire
WINCHESTER, Tennessee (WDEF) – The TBI announced the arrest of a University of the South student this afternoon.
A Franklin County Grand Jury indicted 22 year old Philip Roper of Richmond, Virginia.
He faces one count of Arson and one county of Burning Personal Property for a fire a the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house on February 24th.
The fire was contained to a stage area inside the frat.
Roper was officially arrested on Monday and booked at the Franklin County Jail.
