Bicyclist found dead near Edwards Point identified

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has identified the bicyclist who was found dead on Monday near Edwards Point.

They identified that person as Lawrence Jeffrey Lipcsey.

The HCSO first responded to a report of a missing bicyclist at around 4 p.m. Monday near Edwards Point.

That’s when authorities found the bicyclist deceased.

Several agencies assisted in the recovery operation. The HCSO is still investigating the incident.

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A bicyclist was found dead in Waldens Ridge on Monday, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

The bicyclist was found dead near Edwards Point.

At around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, the sheriff’s office said they were investigating the cause of the incident.

Additionally, they were involved in a recovery operation for the deceased individual.

Waldens Ridge Emergency Services and Hamilton County STARS were assisting as well.
