Sheriff: ex boyfriend got out of jail & kicked in door of his ex
MURPHY, North Carolina (WDEF) – Deputies in Cherokee County, North Carolina arrest a man they found hiding in his former girlfriend’s home.
27 year old Levi Winslow Sutton was already out on bond for various charges against her, including violating a protection order.
On Saturday night, neighbors reported what they thought was someone kicking in the door of a home in the Tomtala Community.
Deputies found Sutton hiding inside.
They found he had forced his former girlfriend into her bedroom.
The arrest turned into a fight, which led to this new long list of charges against him.
1st Degree Burglary, DVPO Violation, Assault on a Female, Interfering with 911 Communication, Resist, Obstruct and Delay, Injury to Real Property.
He now sits in jail on a $100,000 secure bond.
