Sheriff’s Office confiscates heroin, cocaine and other drugs in Ooltewah house raid
OOLTEWAH, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office say they have found a variety of drugs in a house they raided in Ooltewah this week.
The home was in the 8200 block of Old Cleveland Pike.
Narcotics officers say they found pounds of meth, heroin, cocaine, fentanyl, and fentanyl pills along with $56,223 in cash.
They arrested two suspects at the house.
Kysean Neal faces charges of possession for resell on each drug.
Michael Sheppard was charged with drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
“My narcotics detectives remain committed to removing dangerous drugs off our streets which continue to destroy families and kill our citizens. These two individuals failed to heed my previous warnings regarding the distribution of this poison in and around our county. Remember, the next knock on your door may not be a customer, it could very well be my Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team executing a search warrant or an arrest warrant for you. Remember, this Sheriff’s Office still makes house calls,” stated Sheriff Austin Garrett.
The case is ongoing and there may be more charges stemming from the arrests.
