Shooting near Dodds Avenue

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot near the 600 block of Dodds Avenue late Saturday evening.

Soon after receiving the shots fired call in the area, officers were called to a local hospital for a person who arrived with a single gunshot wound.

The victim, Trevor Baldwin, 23, informed police he, along with some friends, were walking to their car when shots were fired in their direction from a passing vehicle.

Baldwin was struck once in the hand and was treated as a non-life-threatening injury.

Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are following all leads and are asking anyone with further information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more will be released when available.
