Shooting on Dodson Avenue

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Early this morning, Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting within the 600 block of Dodson Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile, age 7, suffering from an injury possibly related to the shots fired.

The male victim was given aid and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary evidence suggests the victim was struck by a high velocity object, such as a bullet or fragment.
