Shooting in hotel parking lot in Lookout Valley

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga’s latest shooting apparently happened in a hotel parking lot.

Around 9 AM on Thursday morning, a 38 year old man showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police describe it as a non-life-threatening injury.

they say they were told that he was in a vehicle in the parking lot when he was shot.

The location is a hotel off the I 24 exit in Lookout Valley.

But since the victim does not was to prosecute, police will not pursue charges at this point.
