Signal Mountain gets sidewalk grant

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tennessee (WDEF) – The town of Signal Mountain has landed a $282,838 grant to improve sidewalks.

The TAP grant will build sidewalks from James Boulevard to Ridgeway Avenue.

“This is a sizable federal grant and we were happy to support its application,” said Sen. Watson. “Sidewalks provide many benefits to our communities, including safety, mobility and healthier communities.”

“These federal grant dollars are essential in our efforts to improve the safety and quality of life for the citizens of Signal Mountain,” said Rep. Hazlewood.
