Signal Mountain Middle High School faculty member passes away

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Signal Mountain community is grieving the loss of one of their own.

Mr. Patrick Daverson, a faculty member at Signal Mountain Middle High School passed away from a heart attack this weekend.

According to the Signal Mountain Middle/High School PTSA Facebook,

“Mr. Daverson was an integral part of our Signal Mountain community for many years. He leaves a lasting impact on many students, staff, and families and will be deeply missed.”

Additional counselors and support staff will be available throughout the day Monday, and in the coming days, to meet with students and staff as needed to help the process with this loss and information.
