Signs Posted at Scene of Recent Shootings
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Some new safety measures are being made, after five people were shot in a parking lot near a popular Southside night club.
Republic Parking has recently put up signs in the lot across from Coyote Jacks.
They say the lot is now closed from 12 to 6 a.m., and non-residents will be towed.
There’s another sign that says no loitering.
Coyote Jacks posted about these changes on their Facebook page, Friday.
They say they do not think this will help with reducing illegal activity.
The night club says they’re working with Chattanooga police to find a more positive approach to reducing crime in the area.
