Skype interviews begin for new Hamilton County Superintendent

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Board of Education interviewed two candidates for the permanent superintendent position tonight.

The board scheduled Stuart Greenberg and Natasha Baker to have their interviews today starting at 5 PM. Alan Coverstone was scheduled to interview today as well but pulled his name from the list.

Stuart Greenberg is the currently the Chief Academic Officer for Leon County Public Schools in Florida.

 

 

 

 

 

Natasha Baker is the State School Reform Officer for the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget.

 

 

 

 

 

The remaining candidates are scheduled for public Skype interviews the following two Mondays.

Next Monday, May 15, Wayne Johnson, Clifford Davis and Bryan Johnson will be interviewed. The final Monday, May 22, the board has scheduled interviews with Jack Elsey, Kirk Kelly and Timothy Gadson.

The interviews will be from the superintendent’s conference room at Bonny Oak and the public is invited to attend.
