Skyuka Hall Beta Club

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Some students at Skyuka Hall have reason to celebrate.

About a third of them have become members of the National Beta Club.

The organization focuses on honor, integrity, and academic achievement.

But group members are also focused of helping their community.

28 students at Skyuka Hall qualified to be a part of the Beta Club organization.

Ashley Moore is the Director of Social Development at the school.

“We have students that are working very hard to move us forward academically. And they are doing a great job of, in their studies, and doing everything that their teachers have asked them to do. But also they are very civic minded.”

Moore says the students and teachers at Skyuka Hall want the best possible education they can get.

That’s why the school works hard to make sure students are prepared academically, physically, socially, and spiritually.

Students and administrators say the Beta Club is just one more way to make sure the students are well rounded.
