Soddy Daisy animal hoarding case in court

SODDY DAISY, Tenn. (WDEF) – An animal hoarding case in Soddy Daisy will be bound over to a Grand Jury.

Staci and Dustin Tallent made a brief appearance in court this morning where it was decided their case would be heard by a grand jury. That will happen within the next four weeks.

They each face 15 counts of aggravated animal cruelty.

The couple was arrested in June at their home where officers say they found their three children living in filthy conditions, along with a number of abused animals.

They also will face child abuse charges.
