Soddy Daisy searches for woman swept away in flood waters

UDPATE: Soddy Daisy has confirmed that a woman has drowned in the flooding.

Soddy Daisy Police say they have found the body of the woman about 200 yards from her home at Depot and Oak Streets.

They are not releasing her identity at this point.

SODDY DAISY, Tennessee (WDEF) – Rescue crews are searching for a woman reportedly swept away in flood waters in Hamilton County.

The search is in the Soddy Lake area.

Fire and Rescue got reports that the elderly woman was in a car, but none of that has been confirmed.
