South Pittsburg man charged with death of his girlfriend’s baby

SOUTH PITTSBURG, Tennessee (WDEF) – A Marion County man has been indicted for the murder of an 11 month old boy.

The victim was his girlfriend’s child.

The TBI investigated the case after the child died back in December.

On Monday, the Marion County Grand Jury indicted 22 year old Jonathan Beaumonte with two counts of Felony Murder, one count of Aggravated Child Abuse, and one count of Aggravated Child Neglect.

He was arrested on Wednesday and booked on a $20,000 bond.
