Spring Practice Might Be Time of Healing For Georgia

Spring drills are underway for Georgia.
Might be a time of healing for the Dawgs to get back on the practice field, following the tragic deaths of lineman Devin Willock and staffer Chandler LeCroy in that automobile crash right after Georgia’s national title celebration.

Said receiver Ladd McConkey:”That was our family. See something happen like that. It’s never easy. It’s still not easy. We’re just trying to do everything that we can to honor them and represent them the right way.”
Said head coach Kirby Smart:”Our players have been through a lot. You talked about the health. The mental health some of our guys have needed since the accident. But I am very strongly in belief that we have a great group of young men on our football team. we have a great culture on our football team. We had our highest GPA we’ve ever had in the fall. We’ve got the most kidis doing a lot of community outreach.”
