Stabbing Incident at Lookout Valley Middle/High School

(WDEF)   Law Enforcement and other Emergency Responders were called to Lookout Valley Middle/High School Thursday morning at approximately 9:45 a.m. on a stabbing. Deputy Marie Willerson, who is assigned to Lookout Valley Middle/High School as the School Resource Officer (S.R.O.) reported an incident that occurred in a middle school classroom. A 12 year old middle school student stabbed a 13 year old middle school student for unknown reasons, which resulted in the victim being transported to an area hospital.
        Deputy Marie Willerson is handling the investigation with charges of Attempted Criminal Homicide and Carrying a Weapon on School Property being placed against the 12 year old suspect.
        The school was placed on lock down initially but with the quick and professional assistance from school authorities, was lifted a short time later
