Success at no appointment covid-19 vaccination site

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF)- The Catoosa-Dade-Walker Vaccination Station at the Colonnade in Ringgold is currently offer appointment free COVID-19 vaccinations.

There was a long line of cars out through the parking lot out to the road full of people ready to get vaccinated on Thursday.

Some people have said booking an COVID-19 vaccine appointment is a barrier.

Well that barrier is removed as appointments are no longer required to receive this potentially life-saving shot.

All people need to do is drive up to the Colonnade located at 264 Catoosa Circle in Ringgold Georgia between from 4 P.M.- 8:00 P.M.

The vaccination station is offering the Pfizer vaccine for those getting their first or second dose.

“This is a potentially life saving vaccine just as an example we know now that at least three force to 80% of US seniors have been vaccinated. We’ve also seen about that same percentage drop in deaths of seniors from Covid,” said Catoosa County PIO John Pless.

Anyone 16 or older from Georgia is allowed to get the vaccine. Medical experts say getting vaccinated is not only safe but, the most effective way to get life back to normal.
