Supporting Chattanooga Nonprofits This Season

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – CHAgives is a community-wide giving campaign coordinated by United Way of Greater Chattanooga, in collaboration with local partners.

The campaign brings together nonprofits from across the region on a single online platform, allowing donors to contribute to one or several organizations in one transaction.

The 2025 CHAgives campaign began on November 3rd and will continue through December 31.

United Way announced that the relaunch includes around 40 participating nonprofits, each representing different areas of community support.

Every nonprofit has its own page on the CHAgives website, where visitors can read about the organization, view its goals, and make donations directly through the platform.

The campaign’s timeline overlaps with Giving Tuesday, which is observed today. Giving Tuesday is a global initiative that encourages people to support charitable causes, and CHAgives provides a centralized option for those wanting to give locally.

The platform is available to anyone who wants to explore participating organizations or contribute during the remainder of the campaign period.

Residents can visit the CHAgives website to browse participating nonprofits, learn more about their work, and choose how they want to give during this year’s regional campaign.
