SWAT Standoff in Sale Creek

UPDATE: Sale Creek, TN (WDEF)- Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office’s spokesperson Matt Lea says three rounds of tear gas have been put in the house to try and coax the suspect out.

Family members of the suspect have arrived on scene.

Original Post : Shots have been fired at a SWAT standoff in Sale Creek.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office’s spokesperson says that the incident is happening at a home on Leggett Road.

The suspect has barricaded himself on the property, but Lea says he continues to go back and forth between his house and outside.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies and SWAT are on scene.
