SWAT Team Called after Domestic Disorder takes a Turn

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) – Two teenagers are sitting behind bars tonight on several charges, after a domestic disorder took a dangerous turn.

East Ridge Police were called to Lazard St. for an incident involving Seth Duff (19) and Stormy Duff (18). When they arrived, officers met with both Duffs to diffuse the situation.

Stormy was arrested for Disorderly conduct, and that’s when Seth threatened to shoot officers before running into the house. Police later learned that the Duff’s grandmother and an infant were inside the home.

Officers quickly established a perimeter and activated the ERPD SWAT Team. Authorities successfully negotiated the release of the grandmother and the child, before Seth surrendered peacefully.

Seth Duff is being charged with Assault on police and Resisting arrest, while Stormy Duff is being charged with Assault on police, Resisting arrest and Disorderly conduct.
