Sylvan Learning sharing ways to show gratitude
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – This holiday season, Sylvan Learning of Chattanooga is spreading Christmas joy in a unique way by combining education with festive cheer.
Sylvan Learning Center is here to provide support in subjects like math, reading, writing, and even college prep. With a reputation for boosting confidence and improving grades, the center offers customized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
Sylvan Learning teamed with education expert John Peoples to discuss tips to help teach children about gratitude during the holiday season and some ideas for showing acts of kindness.
John Peoples discussed how parents can show their gratitude with their children by writing things down that they are grateful for, writing letters to veterans, volunteering, or even providing in-home examples.
From writing thank-you letters to collecting non-perishables, the program is helping children recognize the value of kindness, appreciation, and giving during the holiday season.
