TBI cancel Amber Alert after missing teen, suspect found south of Atlanta
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation canceled the Amber Alert after missing teen and suspect found south of Atlanta.
Haley Brandenburg went missing November 6th from Roane County.
An Amber Alert was issued due to Brandenburg’s medical issues, and she didn’t have her medicine with her.
Haley was found in Henry County, GA, and is safe.
Saturday morning an Henry County Police Department Officers responded to the 224 SB entrance of I-75, in reference to a white male and a white female walking along the highway.
When officials approached them, the officer discovered that the 17 year old female was reported missing out of Tennessee.
TN authorities were then notified and are en route to Henry County, where they plan to interview her and her 31 year old companion about the circumstances of her missing TN.
Henry County Police does not have charges on either individual.
This case was turned over to TN authorities for further investigation.
Robert Garren is currently in custody. The TBI says thanks to everyone who helped get the word out about efforts to find Haley.
