Hamilton County man found safe after TBI Silver Alert issued

UPDATE:  Leon Lowe has been found safe, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has issued a Silver Alert for a Hamilton County man.

84-year-old Leon Lowe was last seen leaving his Ooltewah home Friday, September 26, 2025, around 12:00 p.m.

Lowe is 5 feet 5 inches tall, 147 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

The TBI said Lowe is believed to be driving a black 2018 Nissan Frontier with TN tag BJV8182.

Lowe was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black pants.

He has a medical condition that may impair his ability to return home safely without help.
